Principal

Ms. Danielle Trippodo

Ms. Danielle Trippodo

Ms. Danielle Trippodo joined Ardsley School District as Principal of Ardsley High School in 2019.  She was appointed to this role after serving as Assistant Principal of Brewster High School since 2013.  She taught Biology as a lead science teacher for over 10 years at Kingston High School before moving into administrative roles. During her teaching tenure, she actively participated in committees such as the Board of Education Comprehensive District Education Plan Committee and the Building Leadership Team.

Ms. Trippodo earned her Master's of Professional Studies in Humanistic and Multicultural Education. a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Building Leadership and District Leadership and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Biology at SUNY New Paltz.

Assistant Principal

Brendan Granstrand

Brendan Granstrand

Brendan Granstrand joined Ardsley High School as Assistant Principal in 2024 after serving in the New York City Public School System for over 12 years.  Prior to joining Ardsley Schools, he was the Humanities Department Chair and a Peer Collaborative Teacher leader at the Stephen T. Mather Building Arts and Craftmanship High School. There, he also served as Testing Coordinator, a member of The Writing Revolution Committee, Equity Team, and the NYC DOE Wallace Fellowship Cohort, and led the planning for 11th grade U.S. and A.P. U.S. History curricula. He began his career in 2012 at the High School for the Arts and taught 11th-grade U.S. History and 12th-grade U.S. Regents Prep at the Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts, introducing A.P. U.S. History to the school. 

Mr. Granstrand earned his Masters in Educational Leadership: Administration and Supervision and Master of Science in Teaching Adolescence, Dual Certification in Social Studies and Special Education 7-12 from Fordham University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Temple University.
