Silver Linings and Pre-Med Clubs Partner to Take Steps

The Silver Linings Club and the Pre-Med Club partnered together to support Take Steps!, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s largest fundraising event, bringing communities together to walk toward better treatments for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Students first raised $300 with a truly impressive bake sale, and then volunteered at the event to help with set up, distributing materials, walking the 5k, cleaning up and learning about/ promoting awareness of Crohn’s & Colitis!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and to Ardsley junior Shawn Lin for bringing this opportunity to our clubs. We are also incredibly grateful to Momo's Cafe for their generous donation of coffee, cups, milk, and other supplies that helped support the event!

Students hope to support and participate in this event next year!
