AHS Wellness Center To Reopen Late Fall
The highly-anticipated grand re-opening of the Ardsley High School Wellness Center will open its doors in late fall. Under the direction of Social Worker Monique
Johnson, the Center will be open to all students during the 5th, 6th and 7th lunch periods.
Originally established in 2018, the Wellness Center was created to serve high school students, parents, staff, and faculty and provide wellness information, education, resources, referrals, and training. When it reopens this year, the Wellness Center will promote healthy lifestyle habits and provide effective stress management tools through various activities.
The Center will serve as a safe space for members of the high school community to increase awareness, engage in self-reflection, and evaluate their physical and mental well-being. Workshops on time management, meditation, healthy eating, and exercise are planned. Additionally, workshops will be available for parents on various adolescent issues. Stay tuned for announcements about the grand opening co-sponsored by the PTSA in late fall.
