AHS Musicians Perform in All-County Jazz Band Concert
Two AHS student-musicians, Evan Matt and Vyas Mishra, performed in the Westchester School Music Association’s annual All-County Jazz Band Concert on March 21 at Hommocks Middle School in Mamaroneck. The event featured two 17-member bands made up of top high school musicians from the region.
Matt and Mishra earned spots in the ensembles through a highly competitive audition process, highlighting their musical talent and dedication. The concert brought together some of the county’s most skilled young jazz musicians who played a dynamic selection of jazz pieces, captivating the audience with their technical skill and improvisational artistry.
