AHS Junior Nominee for Roger Rees Award
AHS junior Sophia Manalang was nominated and selected for the Roger Rees Awards for Outstanding Performer in a Musical for her role in the AHS production of Into the Woods. She is one of the 50 nominees who will represent the school at the Roger Rees Awards Showcase on Monday, May 19, celebrating excellence in student performance! The evening will culminate with the announcement of the Outstanding Performer Award winners, who are selected by a distinguished panel of Broadway industry judges. These two students will represent The Roger Rees Awards and the Greater New York City region at the National High School Musical Theater Awards® (the Jimmy Awards®). Congratulations to Sophia!!
