AHS DECA Students Advance to State Competition

AHS DECA Students Advance to State Competition

Ardsley High School’s DECA program delivered an outstanding performance at the Regional Competition held at Rockland Community College on Wednesday, January 7. Eighteen AHS students competed in role play events against more than 550 students from 25 schools across the region—and every Ardsley competitor earned a medal and qualified for the New York State DECA Competition.

AHS students placed among the top seven in all individual events and earned top five finishes in Team Decision Making, an impressive sweep that highlights the strength of the program. In addition, more than 80 other DECA members had already qualified for the State competition through their prepared and written events. With this latest success, Ardsley will be exceptionally well represented at the State Conference in Rochester this March.
