AHS Counseling Team Conducts Annual Junior College and Common App Bootcamp
On Monday, Jun 15, 2026, the AHS Counseling Team conducted its annual Junior College and Common App Bootcamp.
The workshop aimed to help juniors build and polish their Common Applications before upcoming deadlines while providing guidance on the college application process and productive summer activities.
This year's event featured a partnership with Iona University for the second half of the session. Iona admission representative, Danielle Zalamea, presented "The Perfect Candidate," a session designed to inform students about the specific qualities admissions committees seek in successful applicants.
